Revlon ColorStay Long Wear Nail Enamel in Fall Mood Review and Swatches

For this week's manicure, I used Revlon ColorStay Long Wear Nail Enamel in Fall Mood.  Fall Mood is light bronze with silver glitter. Despite the name, it looks like more of a summer shade to me - don't you think it would look great with a tan?

I used the Revlon ColorStay Base Coat, one coat of Fall Mood, and the Revlon ColorStay Top Coat. I used only one coat of color to avoid the long dry time associated with Revlon ColorStay.

I'm not usually a glitter polish person, but I am loving Fall Mood!  It's so bright and sparkly. I feel like I dipped my fingers in glittery molten bronze, and that is a surprisingly wonderful feeling.

I've posted about Revlon's new line of polishes before. You can read my initial review of Revlon ColorStay Long Wear Nail Enamel here, see the shade Marmalade on my nails here, and see Rich Raspberry here.

What do y'all think of Fall Mood?  What would you wear it with?

  1. I heard about this nail polish and had to try it also! I go with lighter colors, so I have Provence (lavender), Bare Bones (nude), and Pale Cashmere (light pink). I really like this Fall Mood color too!

I really like the polish becaues its the only brand that lasts more than a day on me! But I totally agree with the long drying time from your previous post. Maybe I'll try to do just 1 coat next time.

I didn't have any trouble removing it, it was just as easy as any other polish for me.

I'm glad I came across your blog! I'm now your newest follower!

    1. Hi AJ! Isn't this polish great? Definitely experiment with 1 coat of color next time - you still get good coverage with a way shorter dry time.

I don't have any of those shades, but I'd love to try them. I wonder how a french manicure with Bare Bones and Pale Cashmere would be!

I'm so glad you like my blog. I just visited yours and added it to my Google Reader - you have great style :)
