Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in N47 Red Brick Review and Swatches

I'm in my early 20s. I haven't shown you a full face picture, but believe me when I say that I look closer to 17 or 18 years-old! Having a youthful, wholesome face means that I have to be careful not to wear makeup that makes me look like I'm playing dress up.

Thankfully, I've found a solution for a more grown-up, polished look. Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in N47 Red Brick ($19) is a perfect shade to help young women look like ladies

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in N47 Red Brick is a deep, warm red shade. The formula is sheer and somewhat glossy. I thought it would be too dark for me, but it is sheer enough to be natural and wearable while still depositing plenty of color.

The packaging is different from the Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense Lipsticks, but it has a similar aesthetic. Both are sleek black with silver lettering, but the "Make Up For Ever" name is more prominent on the Rouge Artist Natural Lipsticks. Hot!

  1. oooh... you're so lucky! This looks great on you! I always find that I look strange with red lipstick on... I have tried so many & still haven't found a one I'm completely comfortable in... Mac's Ladybug is the closest I've come so far... I have no problem wearing fierce fuschia's and the like, but red... I dunno... kinda silly really... :-)

    1. I'm not comfortable in most reds either! Most of them just don't go with my coloring. I think MUFE N47 works better because it looks more natural. I am interested in trying MAC Ladybug too. It looks really pretty from the swatches I've seen.
